Tiny Desk Performance Out Now — Performing with Lorde & Making Coachella Debut

French avant-pop visionary Oklou (Marylou Mayniel) announces her highly anticipated 2026 North American headline tour, following the release of her critically acclaimed Choke Enough (Deluxe) via True Panther. The tour will take her ethereal and emotionally charged live show to cities across the U.S. and Canada — including Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and New York — with a debut performance at Coachella, and appearances at Primavera Sound and Laneway Festival.

Artist presale begins Wednesday, November 5 at 10 AM local, with general on-sale Friday, November 7 at 10 AM local. Fans can register and find full routing at oklou.com/live.

A Global Moment: Sold-Out UK & European Tour

Before embarking on her North American run, Oklou will headline her sold-out European and UK tour, kicking off November 7 at Pitchfork Festival London and joining Lorde in Luxembourg before continuing across Amsterdam, Berlin, Manchester, Paris, and beyond. Every stop reflects her magnetic, genre-defying pull — one that’s captivating audiences worldwide.

    Choke Enough (Deluxe)

     Expands a Modern Classic

Building on the original album’s blend of ambient textures, minimal club rhythms, and cinematic intimacy, the deluxe edition adds four new songs, including the stunning “Viscus” (featuring FKA twigs). The project expands the Choke Enough universe — one built around longing, transformation, and the quiet beauty of imperfection.

The release follows Oklou’s breathtaking Tiny Desk performance, where she played marimba and piano alongside an eight-piece choir, showcasing the multidimensional artistry that’s made her one of the most compelling forces in modern music.

    Critical Acclaim

“Magnificent… Choke Enough is about decisions and possibilities, about windows that can open but also close.” — Pitchfork

“Oklou coos thoughts about information, disaster, personal connection, and blissful sensation… the tracks twinkle like starry skies.” — The New York Times

“The #1 album of 2025 so far.” — Stereogum

    “Unstoppable.” — Highsnobiety

With glowing endorsements from Billie Eilish (“the first thing that’s gotten me excited in a while”) and Ethel Cain (“it’s like if they made pop music for bugs”), Oklou has transcended cult status, landing France’s Le Prix Joséphine Album of the Year and “Best of 2025” honors from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Billboard, The FADER, and Stereogum.

    From Pau to Pop’s Edge

Raised in rural western France, Oklou’s path began with classical piano and cello before she fell in love with electronic production and began performing in Paris. Her 2020 mixtape Galore marked a creative breakthrough — “sophisticated in its composition yet totally cutting edge in its sound,” praised Dazed.

With Choke Enough and now its deluxe expansion, Oklou stands as a singular voice bridging intimacy and innovation, vulnerability and vision.
