    The Colourist

    “We Won’t Go Back”

    The Colourist

The Colourist is a band from Orange County, CA, comprised of Adam Castilla (vocals, guitars), Maya Tuttle (drums, vocals), Kollin Johannsen (guitar, bass), and Justin Wagner (bass, keyboards).  Harmonies are in the forefront of this pop-fueled, indie bred sound.  The harmonies flow throughout the strong instrumental sound of this band.  The guitars, drums, bass, and keyboards perform as the best background for the harmonies of Castilla and Tuttle.  Was harmonies mentioned?  The Colourist have the very best heard for a long time.  They are a strong contender for indie-pop band of the year.  “We Won’t Go Home” is one of those tunes you will be humming and dancing to for a long time.
