Y’all know Icona Pop’s “I Love It” and you definitely know Iggy Azalea’s Fancy. Well they both feature none other than London’s own Charli XCX who is in the middle of a North American tour leading up to the December 16th, 2014 release of her sophomore album “Sucker”. The “Boom Clap” Diva will be at Webster Hall right here in NYC next Tuesday on October 7th, 2014. I got my tickets and I hope to see you there too. Click here to share the event. The second leg of her world tour resumes on February 16th in Barcelona.

In an age where icons like Ari Grande and Nick Jonas are leaving their respective pasts at Disney for an edgier more risqué path, we find an artist like Charli XCX attempting redefine the rulebook and “Break the Rules”. When I think of the four years of High School I tend to forget my own and envision N, B, S, C, D and yes J too in Gossip Girl, the drama of One Tree Hill and the craziness on The OC. Maybe some of us refers back to 90210 or even Saved by the Bell but one thing is for certain, all these dramas really could not do much after graduating besides get cancelled. So why did Charli XCX decide this music video needed to highlight kids in school “getting high and getting wrecked”? Do u wanna go back to high school because I am very much over it! The bad girl image of high school partiers seem to overshadow every step of this video. But I gotta give it to the gal, she is just 22 and a stronghold of today’s radio pop. #Sucker

Don’t forget to drop by Charli XCX’s site: www.charlixcxmusic.com and preorder her album now on iTunes: http://smarturl.it/Sucker
