BROOKLYN, NY – NOVEMBER 4, 2014 – The Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival – whichwill take over nine venues in the heart of Williamsburg this Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8 – announces a series of exciting new acts to its line-up: The Whooligan, Tha Yellow R. Kel, The Black Madonna, Golf Clap, The Deep and Cranks.

In addition, Cahoots Records, a pioneering house music label based in New York City, will host a party at Stilton House at Output on Saturday, November 7. Parisian talents Ange Siddhar and Illan Nicciani will headline the special event and Sid Vaga and Steven LeTigre will support along with label owners Jon Billick and Brian Morse performing as Wreal.

Today the Brooklyn Vegan premiered this new mix from Shift K3Y – done exclusively for #BEMF 2014.

The first-ever BEMF App is available now for iPhone. The free app allows users to purchase tickets, select the artists they want to see, build their own schedule and – using the Recommender feature – receive recommendations of other artists on the lineup that they may also like. Festivalgoers can set alerts for their selected DJ sets, access artist bios and SoundCloud links and receive updates on Uber discounts, giveaways, festival news and more. The app also allows users to snap and share a BEMF photo with its Photo Booth feature, listen to the BEMF playlist and BEMF radio, navigate festival grounds with a Google map, communicate with BEMF and much more. It is available HERE.

The official BEMF t-shirt, designed by Brooklyn mainstay and official BEMF 2014 fashion curator, Kinfolk, is available exclusively at Kinfolk’s online store, found HERE, and at the retailer’s Williamsburg store.

Since its inception in 2008, BEMF has established itself as a NYC mainstay – an endemic and eclectic festival celebrating Brooklyn’s electronic musical landscape and proudly presenting both emerging and established artists from the Boroughs and beyond. 2013’s Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival was the most successful yet, with more than 8,000 people in attendance.
