This band is a real jewel. Jess, Andy, Alex & Stefan make up a band that has everything. They combine all the great musical sounds of the 60’s, the 80’s, and today. The background swirls with synths, sitars, and other exotic instruments but never smothering the most prize attraction of this band: the lead vocals of Jess. What a band. As Culture Collide says:
“I’ll Be You’re Lover,” is ” a free for all of sound loops, though somehow the elements unite in sweet harmony. Feedback, thundering bass, sitar, and soft, cool percussion make for an interesting late ’90s/early 2000s production, but with a bit more intention and heart than we’d usually attribute to that era.”
I hear even more. The 60’s are there, the 80’s are there, the 00’s, all wrapped into something new, something vibrant, a band that is really ready for mass consumption.
