Aw, another one of those bands that know what I like – 80’s style New Wave pop, and they perform it well. Gardens & Villa, who dropped their new CD, Music for Dogs, on August 21, 2015, provide all the right notes, right tones, right vocals, right production, to make “Fixation” a great song. (Oh, and the video is a lot of fun also). Gardens & Villa have create an original sound that remind you of the glory days of the ’80’s, you know, the stuff no one listened to at the time except the terminally hip like myself, but is now played on the oldies station as what everyone was listening to. They weren’t. Now we’re wiser, and Gardens & Villa know exactly what they are doing. I love this band. Keep surprising me.
