As with Spektor, don’t get fooled by a simple melody and a pretty face; there is a lot boiling beneath the surface of Quinn. “That String” is a fun song with a message.

I love these lyrics. Quinn delivers this with a beautiful melody and simple piano work. The production is never overbearing. There is nothing added extra. And that makes the song perfect. I can’t wait to hear what she releases next.
