Riding high of the back of their critically acclaimed and universally received Hot Sauce Hot Sauce EP [Mad Decent] back in January, forward thinking Canadian electronic producer duo ZEDS DEAD now prepare to step things up yet another gear as they take to the BBC RADIO 1 airwaves this Friday night (March 1) for the globally celebrated ESSENTIAL MIX!

ZEDS DEAD READY THEIR DEBUT BBC RADIO 1 ESSENTIAL MIX

Presented by dance music stalwart and international tastemaker, Pete Tong, you’ll be able to catch Zeds Dead on the airwaves and online as they take over the legendary BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix for the first time ever! Tune in here at 01:00 GMT (Saturday) / 20:00 EST (Friday) / 17:00 PST (Friday) for the freshest and heaviest underground soundscapes, as Zach and Dylan take over the most coveted mix-show on the planet. If you miss it, don’t worry – you’ll be able to stream the whole thing for up to 7 days following through the BBC Radio 1 website.

ZEDS DEAD ANNOUNCE 32 DATE WORLD TOUR

To further satisfy their worldwide fan-base, the guys have taken a giant leap by announcing a WORLD TOUR of truly titanic proportions. Kicking off proceedings at the legendary Future Music Festival in Brisbane on March 2 – and taking on an eye-watering 32 dates in less than 3 months from then onwards – the duo will be heading to all corners of the globe, with high profile club dates and festival appearances in a staggering 5 continents! From Australia, Asia and Europe to South America and their native North, the world will soon be reverberating to the signature sounds of Zeds Dead. For the full list of dates, please see below.

And as if that weren’t enough, to celebrate a soon-to-be landmark of 400,000 fans of Facebook, the boys will gift their faithful following with one of the most raucously popular tracks from their recent live shows – RATCHET (their bootleg of Juicy J’s classic track ‘Bandz A Make Her Dance’) – as they release it completely FREE of charge. If you’re not already a fan and you want a piece of the action when the track finally drops, all you need to do is hit the all important ‘like’ button, head to the ‘Downloads’ tab on their official Facebook page and the track is yours to keep! Stay tuned to the official Zeds Dead Facebook page to be one of the first to bag it.
