“Too Original” (feat. Elliphant & Jovi Rockwell)

    Peace Is The Mission

Get off your asses and dance.  International superstars Major Lazer debut a new Tim Erem-directed video for “Too Original” featuring Elliphant and Jovi Rockwell today. This video catches Major Lazer at its most fun.  With a beat that is reminiscent of Team Pimp’s “Somethin’ for the Fellas (That Like The Fellas)”, Major Lazer adds so much different instrumentation, including tuba and trumpet, to make this song unbelievable.  Being a band nerd who played baritone horn, it so nice to see brass instruments being played like this.  Let me tell you this:  my dog is still looking at me strange.  I have been dancing to this song all evening.  I especially love the almost Ballywood/bellydance sounds that are generated by the singers.  Definitely the best dance song so far this year.
