“Give It Up”
This is a great roots band, a tremendous, wonderful, bluesish sound. This is amazing. Relocating from his native city of Baltimore to Brooklyn, NY, Mike McFadden (lead vocals, guitar, banjo) joined forces with Anthony Saladino (bass) and Anthony Spinnato (drums). When they got together, their blues roots just exploded. Although Baltimore is not a city known for its music scene, that is just because it’s been overshadowed by Washington, DC. Leon Russell would feel very comfortable playing piano for this band, and the Band would understand and approve. Those are glowing recommendations. I’m impressed.
