Formed in 2011, The Henry Millers consist of John MacCallum (guitar, piano and vocals) and Katie Schecter (guitar, vocals), with support from Dan Kirschen on drums.  They come from that crazy art world of NYC, bringing together a sound that is so unique.  MacCallum and Schecter’s voices blend into a choir-like beauty over a poppy beat.  This Nashville-based band is known for their catchy, key-driven melodies and their hippie-meets-hipster vibe.NYLON has hailed the band’s “easygoing brand of pop.”  And this band does bring out the very best in what is considered hip in the art world but without the pretense of the “hipsters” scene.  The combination of NYC and Nashville brings an interesting and excellent vibe to their sound.  Listen to them and you can decide for yourself.
