    “Where Are You Wild Horses”

    RAVE-SOUND-OF-THE-MONTH

The Raveonetts are releasing a track a month until December 2016 for what they call their Anti-Album.  The ‘anti-album’ will feature a collection of new tracks that aren’t bound by the constraints of the format.  The new track, “Where Are You Wild Horses”, according to Sune Rose Wagner: “is about knowing when to leave, knowing when something is not working cause if you stay it’s gonna get painful. Sometimes it’s very difficult to say goodbye, so you pray for someone to drag you away, in this case wild horses.” The Raveonettes consist of Sune Rose Wagner (born 7 October 1973, Sønderborg, Denmark) on guitar, instruments, and vocals, and Sharin Foo (born 22 November 1973, Emmelev, Denmark) on bass, guitar and vocals. Now based in LA, The Raveonettes state that their main influences are The Everly Brothers and The Velvet Underground.  This is a band that will never comprise, and they prove it every way.  Listen to them.  Their music is unbelievably complex and simple at the same time.  I love the fact that they have changed the way albums are created and their sound is so original.
