“Mr. Bloom”
Night Talks is an alt rock band from LA comprised of Vocals / Soraya Sebghati, Guitar / Jacob Butler, Bass / Josh Arteaga, and Drums / Cris Arteaga. They have this great rock sound, and Sebghati’s vocals are always out front and extremely wonderful. She has a range and depth that can’t be beat, and her band is so riff-heavy and wonderfully tight. I love this line from their press: “they’ll remind you of the first time you stayed in your room all night listening to a record.” It’s true. This is definitely the type of music you wished the radio played more of. Sebghati has a voice that reminds me of Gayle McCormick from Smith (remember, “Baby, It’s You”). Sebghati can definitely sing the best.
