Blue-Eyed Soul: Cody Jay – “Different”

    Cody Jay

    “Different”

    Off The Vine

Cody Jay has one of the greatest r&b voices out there.  He is so smooth, so real, so romantic.  Jay makes the type of music you want to play while have a glass of wine with that special someone.  The man just exudes class.  And the fact he writes, records, and produces his music from his place in Orange County is amazing.  No fancy overdubs, no covering up his vocals, just him singing beautiful songs.  He’s playing in LA on December 16th at the Viper Room.  Go see him if you can.  Cody Jay is one of the greatest crooners around.  The resemblance to Sam Smith is true, but without the extra notes.  Beautiful work.
