    I Am A Rocketship

    “Face Off”

    Mind Graffiti

This Swedish-American duo from Atlanta is comprised of Eric Weissinger and L E Kippner.  This electronic duo combines Swedish pop sensibility with a dash of electronic surprise.  Kippner’s voice reminds me of Shirley Manson, while Weissinger’s guitar sounds has a distinctive Roxette sound.  Combine the two, and you have a real hit.  “Face Off” is a truly memorable song, filled with hooks galore, a beat that never overpowers, and some of the sweetest keyboards in the background.  This has become one of my favorite bands.
