Los Angeles’ Blackfeet Braves debut self-titled album offers a heavy dose of 60’s era psychedelia, melding sunny surf/garage pop with twangy reverb to easily provide the soundtrack for a the haziest of trips. The album is out today on Lolipop Records, can be heard streaming exclusively now at Filter, and purchased in digital and vinyl formats here.

Called a “solid debut from top to bottom,” by My Old Kentucky Blog, this self-titled LP is a twelve song ode to love and loss led by the signature croony vocals of Tony Malacara and Juliana Ducantenzeiler. Drummer Cameron Gartung and guitarist, Shane Stotsenberg round out the Northern San Diego country bred quartet, who’s lo-fi jangle is met with groovy melodies and nostalgia particularly on singles,”Vicious Cycle” and “Misery Loves Company.”
