What do you get when, in a psychedelic haze, The 13th Floor Elevator, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Julian Cope, and The Dandy Warhols work together? You get Dion Lunadon. Lunadon is amazing. He combines Psychedelic rock, Garage rock, and Post Punk into this amazing swirl of music that will blow you mind, which, in case you didn’t know, is a great thing. This is the best blend of my favorite genres I have heard for a while. And Lunadon has made it sound so original. As Lunadon says, “With “Fire” I wanted wild and heavy guitars with heavy sentiment in the first vocal line to match. Something that grabs you and demands attention. Not background music.” He has certainly succeeded.
