How have I just discovered Gary Clark Jr.?! He has been climbing up the ranks of blues musicians over the past few years (being discovered shortly after playing a festival with Eric Clapton) and slowly being recognized as one the greatest blues guitar players our generation has seen. His newest album “The Story of Sonny Boy Slim” was released this month and is full of some amazing blues-rock jams that surprise me every time I hear another song. He will be touring around the country in the coming months and I’m hoping to see him in NYC in October!
