Think of a smoother voiced Bonnie “Prince” Billy or a more positive Modest Mouse. That’s what Howard reminds me. Maybe more straightforward than Modest Mouse, but still with weird noises behind the voices and great lyrics like:
You told me goodbye.
And while you’re out enjoying
the summer’s bloom.I’m still stuck ignoring
inside my cocoon.
I love this band. They make feel good for feeling bad. That I’m happy when it rains feeling. “Money Can’t Buy” is that perfect description when a relationship is over for the other partner, but not you. Make me feel this good about the bad, please.
