YES! I am so excited to be posting about this new artist I’ve found last week! I saw Nathaniel Ratliff & The Night Sweats on the Tonight Show a few nights ago and was blown away by his performance. Nathaniel is originally from Missouri having 3 solo albums under his belt.
In 2010 he released “In Memory of Loss” which Amazon.com listed as “the #1 album you might have missed this year”. His new group (adding the Night Sweats) has debuted their single “S.O.B” which is definitely my new favorite toe tapper right now! The group is a similar sound of The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons and/or Florence and the Machine. While some of his solo work is much more “quiet folk rock” I am hoping this ‘Night Sweats’ chapter will bring some more uproarious smashing blues.
