Welcome to The Grand, three guys from Wakefield, UK, who have this really unique, awesome sound. Some have compared them to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, others to the National. I hear more of a Julian Cope/Robyn Hitchcock meets Tom Petty sound. This is a band to watch, and with songs like “I Don’t Want To Make You Happy I Want To Make You Cry”, these guys are going far.
