YOUTH is one of the singer/songwriters who writes and sings from experience, yet makes you glad to be sad. Shirley Manson would love YOUTH (I’m happy when it rains). I love sad love songs. And YOUTH provides. His voice is so fine, so romantic, so smooth, yet so melancholy. The production is crisp without being overbearingly coy or dramatic. This is the type of song that Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen and Lou Reed would appreciate. I love it. Perfect alone-time music.
