Wow, what a refreshing breath of air. YUMA is one of those bands that play beautifully complex music while making the whole song sound simple. With the beautifully clear voice of Jesse Liberty and his great guitar work, combined with the strong drumming of Tyler Edmunds (Edmunds reminds me of a slightly restrained Keith Moon), the beautiful keyboard work of Alex Hartley, and the intricate workings of bassist Andrew Framsted, and you get a progressive rock band updated to fit perfectly in 2015. There is nothing outmoded about YUMA; they are as modern as possible. It is wonderful they understand their instruments and are not afraid to use their talent. Welcome YUMA. I’ll glad you’re here. Thank you.
