We just got a listen to the canadian-based psych-rock duo She-Devils current single “Hey Boy” and we must say that this is a band you’re really going to love if you’re a fan of 60s psychedelia and new wave pop. The dou creates this ethereal sonic landscape through the use of electronic gear and synths provided by Kyle Jukka and hypnotic vocals provided by the breathy singer Audrey Ann Boucher.
Boucher cheekily asks “where is the place in your story for me?” while Jukka playfully creates a myriad of sounds through clever synth arrangements and tape-looping. It’s the perfect cohesion of 60s pop and late 70s/80s new wave. Check it out below:
