“Evergreen Psycho”

Idiot Glee

On January 29th, James Friley’s new album finally comes out.  Idiot Glee draws inspiration from 60s and 70s legends such as John Cale, Brian Eno, Brian Wilson, and Scott Walker and combines all the elements of Friley’s previous multi-genre’d releases into his most coherent, piano-heavy piece yet.  With his live band (Case Mahan, Jamie Adkins, Josh Blaine), Friley hits the road, starting out in Columbus.  Why no Pittsburgh stops, James?  His single, “Evergreen Psycho”, is a wonderful mix of piano, vocals, and various other instruments.  Catch him on the road, and buy this album.
