I love this song. Whether it is James Levy’s plaintive baritone, or whether it’s the fact one never knows what exactly the person involved did to Levy, there is a mystery about the song that just carries you along. This is one of the greatest loves songs I’ve heard. It’s in the way the song just flows, like blood through the cut veins of a severed relationship. And when Levy hits those beautiful falsetto notes, well, your heart gets stuck in your throat. This might be my favorite love song since Chris Isaak.
