This has got to be the sexy song released all year. “Hot And Bothered” is exactly what Jones’ voice will get you. This song is amazing. All the sexiness of Shaka Khan and Jodi Watley are there, with a touch of Tina (and if you ask Tina who, you are way too young). Move over Miley and Rhianna. Here is real soul, real blues, real sex. Tameca Jones ain’t singing at your Sunday school picnic, but it’s obviously she picked up her chops singing in church. You can hear the gospel as well as the blues. Aretha would be proud. If you don’t feel sexy after hearing this song, you’re dead. As Eartha Kitt says, remember, it’s your hips that are swaying, and Jones will get those hips swaying for you.
