Minor Characters

“Pimps Of Freedom (Whores Of D.C.)”

We Can’t Be Wrong

I certainly love the new wave of protest coming from the music community.  Every time we have leaders who are whores and thieves, the music community helps us by reminding us that we have the power to change this. It happened in the late 60’s/early 70’s, the 80’s and early 90’s, the 00’s and now, like the punk movement in England during Thatcher.  Bad politics makes great music.  Minor Characters are masters of the protest song.  With a lead singer who sound like Thom Yorke (kind of, better though), Minor Characters have made a beautiful song pointing out the corruption and thievery and all-around idiocy that is American politics.  Minor Characters is comprised of Andrew Pelletier, lead guitarist, Shelby Pollard, and drummer Thomas Benko, coming from Chicago, and making their name in the business in a big way.  This is the way to protest, people.  Go out and vote, and keep listening to Minor Characters.
