Lucci Luwop is an artist that has been grinding out of Augusta, GA for the past five years but was practically born into the art form as his father was a touring R&B artist who performed cover and original songs across the country “I was a bad ass kid watching him do his thing” Lucci said about those early experiences watching his fathers gospel band.
“I Told Em” which he dropped about two years ago has a stunning visual by Duct productions which shows Lucci armed with a handgun at the beginning of the video and spending the rest of the video rapping atop a Jeep Wrangler with a thick video vixen in the background. When asked about the reception of the song Lucci said “It was one of the songs the whole city was rocking with.”
He has a number of other songs that are buzzing as well such as the song with fellow Augusta artist Westside Hardy called “Westside to Cash County” who he describes as his big brother and mentor. Lucci says he just had a daughter and plans on naming his project after her and dropping it in March. “I been working on that and just trying to get everything perfect as far as production but its coming.”
