classixx 1Audiofuzz favorites, Classixx, played to a sold out show Tuesday night at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. The LA-based duo’s set was filled with songs off their debut album, Hanging Gardens, and also included some of their high profile remixes.

GEMS opened up and later joined the band on stage during “Stranger Love” and “Borderline”. We got the chance to watch them from the balcony front and center overlooking the lively crowd below. Unlike Classixx‘s previous shows, which primarily featured the duo DJing their songs along with some of their remixes, they played much of the music live.

classixx 2The highlight of the show came when the duo performed “All You’re Waiting For” with a surprise appearance from Nancy Whang, better know for her collaborations with LCD Soundsystem.

classixx 3The ultimate highlight for us was when we got to meet Classixx after the concert! They’ll be playing both Coachella and Governor’s Ball this year, so if you haven’t seen them live, you should definitely check them out!
