Directer Dobrivoie Kerpenisan was initially preparing his personal Super 8mm footage (shot over a 20-year period) as a present for his wife while casually listening to music over the internet half way across the world in Germany. When AM & Shawn Lee’s “Persuasion” happened to come on he felt an instant connection to the song and reached out to the band about directing a video. The result is a beautiful, innocent and visually rich portrait of family life. A theme the song yearns for in it’s struggle for connection and moving past difficult moments in relationships…the nature of unconditional love.
