Having written her first song at the age of 11, this Scottish singer, Emeli Sande, and songwriter really turns it out with this power vocal off her latest album ‘Long Live the Angels’. It has the beat and flare of a contemporary monster ballad but with the graceful style of a classically trained and incredibly talented songwriter…she does take her original name after one of the all time greats after all, Adele (her biological first name). The video is emotional and gripping and you can see and feel it through the visual imagery and the almost anguished expressions on her face. Put her on the map, because the rest of the album takes you on a journey of self discovery and digs deep into the emotional register.
