“Playboi”
There is something so funky, yet so ass-kicking about Handsomebeast. Coming from Houston, Handsomebeast is comprised of Nick Serena, Jacob Rodriguez, Peewee Ruiz, Carlos Ortiz, and Tony Ortiz, and make music which they call Space-rock-bump-n-grind. This is the music you play late at night, right when the bars are closing. It’s kind of like Dr. John meets solo Joe Walsh, if that makes sense. You really have to listen to this band. If the name had not been taking, they could have easily be called the New Bohemians, because these guys are Bohemians. I love this band. More fun than most bands out there.
