Maps – aka James Chapman – has collaborated with Mute label-mate Polly Scattergood to create a shimmering and melancholic cover of “In The Bleak Midwinter” in anticipation of the fast approaching holidays. Not your typical cheery Christmas song but a valiant effort from some indie musicians to put together a very lo-fi, gothic track for the holiday season.
