I wished I had seen this band at Coachella. They have this great psychedelic pop sound that just swirls around in your brain. I love them. As they say on their website, Allah-las’ “sound (is) cultivated from the annals of California culture; the perfect mixture of the sands, the seas, the streets and cities of the golden state.” That really is a good description. As Jefferson Airplane and the Beach Boys represented California in the 60’s, Allah-las are the sound of this decade’s model. A combination of the best of California, Allah-las are definitely going places.
