Imagine ‘Fight Club’ as a musical? Well maybe we shouldn’t go that far but the Austin Kerns directed video for Jonathan Rado’s new single “Faces” is full of interpretive pre-fight dance. The fighter has a surprise at the end.
Despite the video’s rough ending and rather crazy plot, the song is a sweet indie folk-rock song that is typical of something you might hear from Foxygen minus the drug-inspired lyrics. “Faces” might even be slightly more accessible to the general indie-rock fan base.
