I love the sound of Violet Sands. According to their publicity, “The music of Brooklyn-based Violet Sands is an ethereal soundtrack for a rite of passage, harnessing the alluring vocals of Deidre Muro, the inventive production of David Perkick-Molinari, and the atmospheric guitar-scapes of Derek Muro to evoke the beauty and struggles of transitioning from one phase of life to another.” Muro’s vocals have that eerie feeling of Terri Nunn of Berlin. Violet Sands sounds like they were transported from the ’80’s into the ’10’s. Tremendous song. This is my new driving song.
