    Here Comes The Fear

    Heavy Static have done it again.  They have released a video for their first single off a Here Comes The Fear, and what a video it is.  Parodying the science fiction movie craze of the 60’s, Heavy Static has fun with the genre without trivializing it.  They really like those movies (as do I).  And again, the song “Andromeda” is an ass-kicking song that takes its influences from Ziggy-era Bowie to the Hives without ever sounding derivative or a mere copy.  No, Heavy Static is very original.  I love this band.  Just in time for the summer.

      Orbo,dubito che un masso poco consistente lascerebbe tracce così profonde e mi pare improbabile che ci sia una buca invisibile proprio dove passa il masso. Statisticamente, la superficie dovrebbe essere piena di buche del genere, letali per uno sbarco o per una passeggiata d’astronauta.Finora non sembra che ce ne siano. Ricordo un bel racconto di Arthur Clarke in cui si ipotizzava proprio questo genere di polvere talmente fine da comportarsi come un liquido, simile alle sabbie mobili.

      Those are so cool, Minty! I was just in the fabric store yesterday and I saw this great chocolate brown-light blue striped cotton and it made me wonder how your socks were coming. I love that color combination so much!!! They look great!

      I feel your pain. Had two c-sections myself.Don’t take a laxative because that can cause diharrea and cramping!I would recommend regularly taking stool softeners, per my doctors instructions. Take them on a regular basis and drink LOTS of water. It will really help.
