    Tushka Live

I was so lucky to see Tushka at a sold out show last night at Club Cafe in Pittsburgh.  They were absolutely amazing.  As Phil Moore said, Club Cafe is amazingly intimate.  This works for perfectly for Tushka’s synth pop, mainly because Tushka is an amazingly intimate band.  The energy from the two was amazing (like watching Le Tigre, who they sometimes reminded me of).  Oh, and the guys are so absolutely approachable and friendly.  This is one of my favorite shows this year.  They played the whole album, and the harmonies were unbelievable.  Phil Moore has an amazingly soulful voice, and many of their songs revealed an R&B synth pop such which was both danceable and worthy of deep listen.  I had the time of my life.  Thanks guys.  It was a hell of a show.  When you’re in town next, I will be there.
