    “Heartache Is An Uphill Climb”

    Stitch Of The World

What an amazing voice.  What a tremendous talent.  Tift Merritt has one of those voices that comes seldom in any music genre.  She sounds like a young Dolly Parton or Tammy Wynette.  I love this woman; she has grabbed the world of music by the balls, and I just cannot believe she’s real.  Tift’s band is made up of:  Tift//sings & plays; Jay Brown//bass & vocals; Eric Heywood//guitar & steel; and Noah Levy//drums.  Her band just absolutely supports her wonderfully without overpowering her, but I believe it would be impossible to overpower this young singer.  She is a definite great addition to the proud country tradition.
