Strong Heroine: Kate Grom – “This Storm”

    Kate Grom

    “This Storm”

    Heroine

Emmilou Harris, Dolly Parton, June Carter, Kate Grom.  Strong women with strong songs and strong voices singing about being strong.  Kate Grom can proudly stand in that group.  I love this woman; her music, her lyrics, her melodies.  She is so great.  “This Storm” certainly characterizes her music so well.  Produced by two-time Grammy Award-winning producer Stewart Lerman, the title of the nine-song collection, Heroine, is inspired by the Nora Ephron quote, “Above all, be the heroine in your life, not the victim.” Grom is certainly no victim.  Her music speaks for itself.  Take a listen; you’ll never be same.
