    “Impossible Objects Of Desire”

    Fujiya & Miyagi

Coming from Brighton, UK, Fujiya & Miyagi is comprised of David Best // guitars, lead vocals; Steve Lewis // synthesisers, beats, programming, backing vocals; Ed Chivers // drums; and Ben Adamo // bass, backing vocals.  Their sound is a mix of German electronica, disco, 70’s new wave (think Dead or Alive and Yaz), with the DIY of the 2000’s and throw them all together into a fantastic mix that is actually seamless.  All I know, dance music hasn’t been this fun for a long time.  And then their videos remind me of OK Go, which are always irresistibly fun.  What a band.  This is an album that would even get me on the dance floor.
