    “Everything Is Off”

    Five Suns

There is something incredibly familiar yet quite new about Billy & Dolly’s new song, “Everything Is Off”.  San Francisco duo Bill Rousseau and Dahlia Gallin Ramirez sound like they were lifted from 60’s LA (hanging with Cass Eliot and CSN), jumped to the 90’s (The Lemonheads, Juliana Hatfield), and ended in the present age, combining all those elements into a beauty mix.  Rousseau on acoustic guitar and Ramirez on Wurlitzer electric piano, combining their voices in tight harmonies, just create beautiful music, writing songs about post-apocalyptic love, galactic desertion, and Jane Eyre, all beautifully served up.  If you love tight harmonies, sly and intelligent lyrics, and beautiful accompaniment, this is the group for you.  Billy & Dolly will surprise you,  Listen and listen hard.
