    “Escape The Blade”

There is something twilightish about Alison Sudol.  Her voice is lovely like a red/purple sky at dusk.  This is music for the evening, the most peaceful time of day.  That’s it:  Sudol’s music is peace.  With help from Ali Chant, Adrian Utley, Clive Deamer, and John Parish, Sudol brings her beauty to vinyl.  Sudol quit the major record companies to go independent, and, as heard on this beautiful tune, it works.  When you are settled down for a cold winter’s nap, listen to Sudol, open a bottle of wine, and enjoy.
