Australian electronic legends Cut Copy return with Moments, their first studio album in five years, out September 5 via Cutters Records / The Orchard. The record marks a thrilling new chapter—blending their signature synth-pop with psychedelic flourishes, trip-hop textures, and a raw emotional core. It’s a soundtrack for navigating life’s chaos and finding connection on the dance floor or in your headphones.

Frontman Dan Whitford describes Moments as both a reflection and a release: “It’s about transformation—personal, global, emotional. We wanted the songs to feel modern but alive, euphoric but human. It’s Cut Copy, evolved.”

The announcement comes with the luminous new single “When This Is Over”, featuring a children’s choir from Candlebark School that adds pure magic to the track’s spiraling synths and emotional crescendo. The song radiates warmth and empathy, capturing the band’s signature optimism amid dissonance.

This fall, Cut Copy will take Moments on the road with a world tour kicking off in Australia before heading to North America and Mexico.
