(November 4, 2025) — Pop icon Andy Bell — best known as one half of legendary synth-pop duo Erasure — returns with his shimmering new single “The Chance Won’t Come Again,” featuring Tim Rice-Oxley of Keane. The single marks a dream collaboration between two of British pop’s most accomplished songwriters and arrives ahead of Bell’s highly anticipated four-disc box set, The Crown Jewels, out December 12 via Crown Recordings.

A bittersweet yet euphoric anthem, “The Chance Won’t Come Again” is a tears-on-the-dancefloor stunner — wistful, romantic, and brimming with Bell’s unmistakable warmth and emotional range.

“It’s surreal and such an honor to work with one of my musical heroes,” says Rice-Oxley. “When I first heard Andy’s magical vocals, it was the stuff of dreams. The song captures the pathos of missed opportunities — a banger full of heartbreak and hope.”

    Bell adds:

“It’s about recognizing the fleeting moments that define us — and not letting them slip away.”

The song follows Bell’s studio version of “Xanadu” (Olivia Newton-John & ELO), which quickly became a fan favorite on his ongoing Ten Crowns Live world tour.

    The Crown Jewels

     – A Four-Disc Celebration of Pop Majesty

Out December 12 via Crown Recordings, The Crown Jewels expands on Bell’s acclaimed solo album Ten Crowns with bonus tracks, remixes, extended mixes, and live recordings, chronicling the Erasure frontman’s most inspired solo chapter to date.

Packaged in a limited-edition gold-foiled box (4,000 copies worldwide) with a 50-page booklet and never-before-seen photos by Sean Black, the set captures Bell’s boundless creative spirit across four unique discs:

Disc 1 — Ten Crowns (Deluxe)

Includes collaborations with Debbie Harry, Sarah Potenza, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and new bonus tracks “Xanadu” and “The Chance Won’t Come Again”.

Disc 2 — Ten Crowns (Extended)

Extended mixes of every album track, reimagined by Grammy-winning producer Dave Audé.

Disc 3 — Ten Crowns (Remixed)

A kaleidoscopic collection of remixes by Vince Clarke, Hifi Sean, Cosmic Gate, Shiny Toy Guns, and others — including Clarke’s reflective rework of “Dance For Mercy.”

Disc 4 — Ten Crowns (Live)

A vibrant document of Bell’s electrifying tour — including “Godspell,” “Thank You,” and “Xanadu.”

Bell’s Renaissance: The Tour & the Reviews

Currently touring North America for the first time as a solo artist, Andy Bell is performing with a live band featuring Dave Audé (production, keys), Jerry Fuentes (guitar), Sarah Tomek (drums), and Chelsea King-Blank (vocals). The shows have been described as transcendent, nostalgic, and deeply human:

    “Effervescent.” – New York Times

“His finest solo album to date.” – The Quietus

“Bell remains a magnetic performer—his voice soaring, his presence commanding.” – Digital Beat Magazine

    A Legacy of Pop Brilliance

Since answering Vince Clarke’s fateful Melody Maker ad in 1985, Andy Bell has sold over 20 million albums as Erasure’s frontman, with five UK #1 albums, Brit Awards, and an Attitude Icon Award to his name. His solo career has been equally adventurous, spanning three albums under his own name and two under his theatrical alter ego, Torsten the Bareback Saint.

Bell’s collaborations include Debbie Harry, Boy George, Claudia Brücken, Perry Farrell, and Jake Shears, cementing his reputation as one of pop’s most expressive and enduring voices.

“Andy Bell, eternal dreamer of electric heavens, left the night aglow — proof that pop, when sung with sincerity, still holds the power to make even the jaded believe in Xanadu.” – Post-Punk
