True Nirvana: Circle Creek – “Anger”

    Circle Creek

    “Anger”

These guys from Graz, Austria, kick ass in that great Stoner way.  Consisting of Chris Zirkelbach / lead guit + voc; Didier Zirkelbach / rhytm guit + voc; Gorge / bass; and Bernhard Wolf / drums, these guys just have it all.  Zirkelbach’s voice is perfect, the guitars are killer, Wolf’s drum beats are just on, and Gorge (my God dude) is unbelievable on that bass.  When the band quiets down, and the bass starts playing, I totally reached nirvana.  And when the rest of the band joins in with that great lead and the rhythm guitar (Didier, you are a great rhythm) supporting his brother Chris’ lead and Wolf’s drumming, you get past nirvana and to another plane.  All you heavy rockers out there, you need to take lessons from this great Austrian band.  They got it perfect.
