Scripts From Life: Billie Eilish – “When The Party’s Over”

    Billie Eilish

    “When The Party’s Over”

I am not exaggerating how wonder Billie Eilish is.  Her voice has this range that divas would kill for.  She has such passion, such intensity, and she is only 16.  She reminds me of an emotional Lana del Rey.  I just know this woman has what it takes.  Her bio states:

Billie Eilish listens to music the way that most watch movies, entirely undefined by genre. This bleeds through into her own unique style of music, calling out lyrics with a mix of heartbreak and damaged indifference.

This is what makes her different.  She writes songs that are movies, where you watch the action while having a small part.  The only other band that I can describe as movie script is Jethro Tull (not that they sound alike).  Eilish gets help from her brother, Finneas O’Connell (Of The Slightlys), which keeps it all in the family.  This is definitely someone to watch.
