Darker Beauty: Death By Piano – “Countdown”

    Death By Piano

    “Countdown”

Death By Piano is back and even darker than before, if that is possible.  “Countdown” is a remarkable song containing what might be my favorite line: “Will the quiet be too loud?” Death By Piano is comprised of singer/keyboardist Kalen Lister and producer/instrumentalist Greywolf.  The song is layered with strings, keyboards, effects, but none of those overpower Lister’s tremendous voice.  Every time I hear them, they just get better.  And when Greywolf echoes Lister’s vocals, and then piles Lister’s own harmonies and background ooo’s, your heart takes a flip, it is so damned beautiful.  Thank you Death By Piano.  I missed you.
