Powerhouse electronic duo PINES are thrilled to announce their sophomore album Life As We Know It, out January 19, 2024. In support of the album release, PINES new single, “Lost,” out today. Listen to “Lost” below:

Life As We Know It marks both a beginning and an end for PINES. Written over a multiple years period, the album takes the listener on a journey the mirrors the highs and the lows of life, drawing inspiration from the everyday mundane to the unforgettable moments.

Blending beats and rhythms effortlessly from hip-hop to house with ethereal ambient vibes, deep, distorted bass grooves, and a touch of pop-inspired composition, PINES create a unique sonic combination that transcends conventional boundaries. This album is a love letter to their own relationship with music and sound, demonstrating a maturity and confidence in their productions that can only come with the passing of time spent honing their craft.

Collaborating with guest vocalists on standout tracks Tides, Lost, History and Slow Memory, PINES introduce an infusion of pop sensibility that serves as a beacon, drawing audiences deeper into their enigmatic sonic realm. Amidst the intricate layers, their melodies shine through to evoke a range of emotions from introspection to euphoria. It’s this melodic finesse that anchors their music in the hearts and minds of their audience, making their ethereal soundscapes not only unique but also deeply resonant.

In the vast landscape of electronic music, PINES indeed occupy a rarefied space, offering an auditory journey that feels as boundless as the universe itself.
